Quilt in a Jar Workshop

Participants are led in this special workshop celebrating the rich history and artistry of African American quilting, a generational tradition. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the cultural significance of quilting within the African American community, explore unique techniques, and even try their hand at creating their own quilting square, also known as "mug rugs," using provided materials in the Quilt in a Jar.

Whether you're an experienced quilter or new to the craft, this workshop offers an opportunity to connect, create, and be part of a vibrant quilting tradition. Join me for this special opportunity to share stories, skills, and participate in the community spirit of quilting.
The in-person workshop is recommended for ages 12+ and limited to 25 seats. Quilting materials are provided.  Duration, 3 hours $35/student. To book a workshop, please complete the form below.
